John Crawford Marine has welcomed back a Quintrex 475 Hornet Trophy that we sold some 17 years ago from the owner who lives some 3 hours west of Brisbane.

Despite her age, which is just a number, this Hornet has been used exclusively since ownership fishing the western impoundments and river systems. When not in use, stored dry and undercover in the properties large shed.

The Quintrex Hornet is undoubtedly regarded as one of the finest aluminium sports fishing boats made in Australia. Since it's inception in the late 90's the hull design revolutionised the sports fishing platform with a design that is incredibly stable at rest, ideal for the lure and fly angler and yet with the deep V, the hull cuts the afternoon chop and rides almost like a glass boat!

As the photos demonstrate, this rig has the features that align with the coastal saltwater fisherman and also the impoundment angler. 2 x large plumbed and recirculating fish live wells, side scan transducer linked to the Garmin MFD, Minn Kota 55lbs electric bow mount motor and a large overhead bimini to provide ample shade from the midday sun.

Powered by a Yamaha 60Hp F60CET four stroke that is a perfect power match for this hull providing more than enough power for 3 aboard and backed with Yamaha's know reliability and fuel economy.

Prior to listing for sale, JCM workshop has completed the annual service, completed a presale inspection and the ECU computer report, confirming the engine hours. Further backed with a BIA engine warranty for buyers purchasing confidence.

The rig is trailered on it's original Redco Sportsman RE1313-1-MB trailer that marries to the hull like a glove. As the pictures depict, the trailer in very good condition and has been workshop serviced with new wheel bearings/new brake discs, new brake cable/pads/turnbuckle and two new LT tyres.

Further fitted with mechanical override disc brakes and a matching spare wheel for on road towing safety.
