Entirely renewed and in immaculate condition, this sleek cutter is robust, fast, and fully outfitted for bluewater cruising. PANTERRA is a US-flagged boat and currently located in New Zealand. She is ready to go.

Originally designed for offshore racing by the legendary Ed Dubois, the powerful rig and deep fin keel makes for a stiff, fast boat that handles itself well in the heavy seas. She is solidly built, featuring an integral aluminum chassis, carbon+Kevlar hull inlay, fully laminated hull-to-deck joint, and watertight bulkheads fore & aft. All hardware is oversized, including a massive rudder shaft, beefy keel bolts and XL winches.

The fully refurbished triple-spreader aluminum rig boasts a fresh set of sails, including a fully battened main and self-tacking jib. Both headsails are on Harken furlers, which makes for a versatile setup that is easy to handle, even solo. A hard dodger provides excellent protection from the elements: a dry cockpit under passage and shade at anchor. The sugar-scoop swim step is invaluable for fishing and diving, whilst the aft 'garage' is large enough to store all kinds of gear (outboard, fuel cans, etc).

The interior is fitted for comfortable live-aboard cruising with 3 double cabins and a bright, functional salon with ample headroom (2.1m) and plenty of storage. Total off-grid autonomy is achieved thanks to high-capacity water & fuel tanks, a 12V Katadyn watermaker, and a generous solar array. A very reliable and meticulously maintained Yanmar diesel engine can easily push the vessel at 8 knots in calm conditions, whilst a feathering 3-blade Max-Prop provides plenty of thrust under power and minimizes drag under sail.

Prior to crossing the Pacific, *every single* system has either been restored or replaced. No expense was spared and not a single bolt left unturned. The decks and rig were fully stripped and rebuilt, with new paint applied throughout. All work is backed by a detailed maintenance record, including receipts for all new parts & equipment installed (detailed log available upon request).
