"ARAMAITI" is currently sailing on west coasts of Malaysia (mostly) and
Thailand.
She is registered in Langkawi (Malaysia) until next year.
I live on board so the boat is 100% operational.
The boat was on a dry dock (early May 2025) for antifouling, installation of the
sensor for my new depth sounder and servicing my Maxprop.
There is no trace of osmosis on the hull.
For the last 3 years, improvements had been made such as new engine,
gearbox totally overhaul, new autopilot, new depth sounder, new fridge, new
main sail and so forth.
The boat was strongly built (like all Taiwanese built boat of that time). Strong
GRP hull and solid teak inside (no laminated wood).
All halyards come back to cockpit which make the sailing easy. The large
cockpit is covered and has shades on side, which is very convenient to protect
from sun and rain.
There is 1m90 height everywhere inside the boat.
The water maker help filling the 600 liters water tanks and, with all the solar
panels as well as wind generator, the boat is quite autonomous.
She a great cruiser. Spacious, safe, good speed and in good condition, mostly
with all the new items added recently.
At US$ 50k, she is a very good opportunity (again considering the
additions/changes made in the last 3 years mounted at more than US$ 15k
alone).
There is quite a lot of spare parts on board which will stay.
