"Jigsaw" is a professionally owner-built Oram 48C catamaran designed by Australian multihull designer Bob Oram. Bob's designs are well regarded for their performance, simplicity, and ease of handling. We have lived aboard full-time since her launch in 2011 and found her to be a great liveaboard boat and passage-maker.

From 2012 to 2016, we circumnavigated the globe via South Africa -- just the two of us, in our mid-60s--without additional crew. "Jigsaw" proved to be fast, comfortable, safe, and easily sailed throughout the voyage. Since returning to Australia 9 years' ago, we've cruised the East Coast extensively, from Lizard Island in the far north to Tasmania, spending four summers exploring southern waters.

With a shallow draft of 0.6 metres, lift-up rudders, flat bottoms, and watertight compartments fore and aft, she offers both safety and versatility--capable of being safely beached for maintenance. The galley is well laid out with ample storage, and the vessel includes hot showers in both en suites and a queen-sized bed in the owner's cabin. She is also a much-admired boat in anchorages, often complimented for her design and practicality.
