Unique and sleek Gary Lidgard design, 45' sloop. Centreboard (1.9m up and 3.0m down). Lived onboard for 6 years. Suitable for multipurpose: live aboard, racing and casual cruising. A great fast cruising vessel.

After a full circumnavigation, she had a complete refit in 2012/2013. Everything was replaced by qualified marine electrician owner: new switchboards, wiring (tinned), windlass, toilet and instruments. New lighting and lights including aqualuma u/w lights, new ram and pump for keel and new lithium house set. 1100 w of solar easily upgradable to 1900 w.

Set up for long distance remote cruising, Blitz also has 8 x Anderson winches, bbq, Broadwater stove and oven, 2x 9kg gas bottles, 3 fridges, 1x 120L bar fridge with small freezer, 1x 70L top load fridge, and 1x 70 L top load freezer, 800L of water in 2 tanks, 270L of diesel in 1x s/s tank.

Yanmar 40hp 3JH4 with Racor 500 and cav 296 filters and yanmar SD50 saildrive. 1200w mastervolt inverter, tv and dvd player, great airconditioning for tropical climates (Cruisair 16000btu), B & G and Simrad instruments including very reliable and accurate autopilot.

We have had a million dollars of fun cruising Blitz over the years. She is an exceptionally well built functional yacht, albeit in need of a few cosmetic touches. She is now ready for her next owner while we move on to a larger yacht to fit our growing family!
