Designed and built in Australia, the Jarkan 10.5 has earned a strong reputation as a capable, comfortable, and highly sought-after cruising yacht. Its well-protected centre cockpit provides security at sea while allowing for a spacious and private aft master cabin, making it ideally suited to extended cruising. Proven Bluewater performers, many Jarkan 10.5s have successfully completed circumnavigations of Australia and ventured further offshore with confidence. Inside, the design impresses with exceptional headroom and a clever, practical layout that maximises space and comfort, making it equally appealing as a long-range cruiser or ideal liveaboard. "The Shack" is an excellent example of the design and is well set up for easy cruising, and extended stays onboard. The previous owner cruised extensively up and down the East Coast of Tasmania, and also competed in over 300 twilight races, with a quite few wins along the way! Ideal for easy cruising, it is well set up wth HEAVY DUTY DINGHY DAVITS, INFLATABLE TENDER WITH A 9.8HP OUTBOARD, SOLAR PANELS, HOT WATER, 240V SHORE POWER PLUS A 1500W INVERTER, AND QUALITY DOYLES SAILS! With its excellent pedigree, performance, and inventory, "The Shack" presents an excellent opportunity to make your sailing dreams a reality.

Stepping inside, the timber trims and white finishes give the vessel and warm and traditional ambience. The saloon features a folding leaf dinette, with seating for 6 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. The galley is to port and is very well appointed with large top loading fridge, 2 burner stove with oven, microwave, and good bench space. The accommodation is ideal for cruising with family and friends or even as a comfortable liveaboard. Aft is the large master cabin. This has a generous double berth (or two king singles), and plenty of storage. The second cabin is forward with a double v-berth, and there are two single settee berths when additional accommodation is required. The package is complete with a private bathroom with toilet, H/C Shower, and vanity.

Outside, the cockpit is well set up with a spray dodger and cushions. This is a great place to both sail, or relax in your favourite anchorage. The sailing systems are simple with the furling headsail, self tailing primary winches, and mainsail in a boom bag with lazy jacks, making sailing a breeze shorthanded. There is plenty of comfortable seating for guests with the great addition of the 'princess seat' on the stern. There is easy access forward around the wide side decks, and an electric anchor winch on the bow.

This vessel is powered by a well maintained and reliable Volvo Penta 28HP Diesel engine. There is excellent access to this for easy servicing under the companionway stairs.

"The Shack" is a vessel that really does tick all the boxes! Whether you want to liveaboard, cruise the up the East Coast, or further afield, this is a vessel that can do it all in safety and comfort. For more information please call Jo Breen or Jack Allison on .
