27' Risør GRP motor yacht. Around 30' from stem to stern. Mid to late 80s launch date.
Encapsulated lead keel drawing a little under a metre. Mast at 8.3m.
Strong fibreglass hull while looking like a clinker yacht.
Perfect for the Tamar, in shore sailing and fishing and a perfect weekender or single live-aboard.
Comfortable sailing for 4 to 6 people. Licensed up to 10.
Near new D2 40 Volvo penta showing 195 hours. Recent service completed with new impeller. New spares enough for the next service at around 250 hours.
Vetus Bowthruster in front.
Raymarine axiom electronics, auto helm and instrumentation.
Duck board, dinghy davits and muir electric windlass.
Highfield roll up tender with 2.5 horse suzuki outboard with less than 10 hours of use. Will come freshly serviced.
Shore power, basic solar, small inverter, AGM house and engine batteries with plenty of remaining service life.
Comfortable classic styled saloon with front double bed. Two rear single cabins with wheelhouse in the middle.
Small head with basin.
Basic galley with running cold water and gas. We just use a capsule stove however plumbing is there for a permanent stove if you want it.
Provision for water and diesel in two tanks of around 200 litres each.
Furling jib, main on behind mast furler and two sails to suit in fair to good condition. Lines and rigging in good condition.
Registered and insured.
On a recently serviced mooring at York Cove in Georgetown. Older, owned mooring. Included for the asking price (Value $3,000).
Plan is to slip and antifoul the yacht when interest dictates so prospective buyers can do a thorough out-of-water inspection.
Nothing dire needs doing right now just the usual ongoing boat maintenance. Saloons are in very good condition. Wheelhouse needs internal paint and a little tidy.
Ready to enjoy from day one.
