Offered for sale is a truly exceptional example of the Hanse 461, one of the most celebrated performance cruisers of her generation. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk, the studio behind the Alinghi America's Cup campaigns, the Hanse 461 was conceived to dominate the competitive 15-metre cruiser/racer market. With a sail area/displacement ratio of 22.56 and a light-displacement hull form optimised for speed in all points of sail, she remains an outstanding performer two decades on. ARGO features the medium keel option at 2.3m draft; with recent new standing rigging, Harken mast track system for reliable single-handed reefing and a full suite of Raymarine navigation systems, she is ideally set up for long range performance cruising.

This 2006 Hanse 461 features the popular Owner's version layout, with forward ensuite Owner's cabin and an additional two double guest cabins. Her bright, sociable saloon offers U-shaped seating, mahogany joinery and generous natural light. The adjacent galley is fitted to a serious cruising standard with a Force 10 oven (new 2021), 12V refrigeration, pressurised hot and cold water and plentiful storage.
