Pacific Zulu is a strong, well designed, fast and economical long-range cruiser that turns heads wherever she goes! Designed by the renowned Naval Architect Brett Bakewell-White and professionally built in New Zealand. She was designed and built for short-handed offshore cruising around New Zealand and the South Pacific, and later transported to SE Asia where she underwent a major refit by a qualified shipwright.
Pacific Zulu is the ultimate vessel to cover distances economically and get to surf spots quickly, irrespective of fickle winds in the tropics, and without the maintenance costs associated with sailing vessels (sails, rigging etc).
Pacific Zulu is an inexpensive boat for someone who is looking for a passage-making capable fast cruiser. Her efficient hull design gives a cruising range of around 2,000NM at a speed of 8-10 knots, with an approximate fuel usage at an outstanding ½ litre per nautical mile at cruising speed. Her wave piercing bow makes for efficient and comfortable seakeeping.
Very well built, she has comfortable accommodation (max 4 berths) with a large galley, navigation station, comfortable seating and dining area, toilet, and enclosed pilothouse with clear 360-degree view. All systems are simple and robust, and make for a comfortable off-grid live-aboard.
Pacific Zulu is currently lying in Phuket, Thailand, the Yachting Hub for SE Asia, and is ready to take you on your next adventure!
