Cole 32 Great liveaboard or cruising yacht Just Listed

Regrettably we have decided to part with our much loved cruiser "Conquest" due to the unexpected arrival of a new crew mate (we had a baby). Purchased at the end of 2022 and sailed down from Geraldton to Perth we've absolutely loved spending time on this boat. We were working on some upgrades with big plans to sail her around Australia, but as we now have our hands full as parents of a little one we've decided to postpone our adventure and just don't have the time to give her the attention she deserves. We really want her to go to someone who does have the time to actually sail her and perhaps even take the journey we had planned!

1989, built by Excel Fibreglass, Cannington WA. Light displacement, rounge bilge, fin keep, skeg hung rudder, mast head rig. Previous owner had her for 10 years and sailed her to the Abrolhos Islands 3/4 times a year, Dongara & locally. She hasn't been raced and has been meticulously looked after. He practically refitted inside and out.

We have added the below since purchase;
- Viking Liferaft - purchased from Whitworths Marine 2023
- Raymarine i50 / i60 Depth/Speed/Temperature and Wind Instruments (wind still needs to be run up the mast and connected)
- Two new batteries 2023

Last hauled out for antifoul and new shaft anodes in Jan 2026. Surveyed in January 2020 (previous owner) and by us December 2022 (report available). All stainless steel standing rigging replaced May 2020 (when we purchased her she had mostly new running rigging). Inspection completed 2024.

6 berth. Forward v berth (double). Saloon table drops to make a double berth. Starboard single berth. Large single quarter/pilot berth at rear. All berths over 6'ft long. Previous owner had most seacocks replaced, complete hull repaint (has a few minor marks now), completely repainted/varnished inside. All steering cables/chain replaced, quadrant stripped serviced. Prop shaft removed, new cutless bearing and stern gland removed. Most domestic plumbing replaced. All wiring tidied up & clipped to bulkheads. Ali fuel tank removed steam cleaned & fuel pipes/filters replaced. Since then we've only sailed her the 300 nautical miles from Gero and around the Two Rocks area. We've replaced the batteries. There are multiple spare oil/fuel/air filters and belts on board.

Volvo 2002 18hp diesel motor. Had major service January 2022. New fuel lift pump fitting, injectors serviced, fuel pumps serviced, engine tuned, by authorised Volvo mechanic. 4 x rubber engine mounts replaced. Bow roller is a little bent but works, there is a new one on board we didn't get around to installing. New anchor fitted (2x spares). Anchor chain 10mm galv. 22m. Anchor rope new when purchased. Hasn't been used. Perspex/polycarbonate to both hatches & washboard. Bimini fitted but needs a few screws and a new cover (was damaged in the latest Perth storms). New main sail/boom cover. New varnished wooden cockpit table made (removable). New 'daybed' with cushions made for cockpit, great for long passages (crew can lay down/sleep).

Galley & chart table surfaces new laminate fitted. Maxie 21 burner, stainless steel metho stove (no gas onboard, so no need for ongoing inspections/certifications). Galley & head water pumps serviced by previous owner. Toilet had new seal kits fitted but could use a service, there is a kit onboard. Pipes replaced and seat repainted in white expoxy.

2x spinnaker poles (currently removed as we were planning to paint the deck). One can be setup as emergency rudder. (Poles used in mast lowering operation - instructed for this are onboard). Emergency tiller. Outboard motor bracket. Swim ladder.

Raytheon RC425 chart plotter fitted on steering binnacal. Navman Fish 4430 echo sounder (was but is currently not working). GME558A VHF radio, new VHF aerial fitted at top of mast by previous owner, as well as new nav/anchor light. New deck light fitted to mast. Mast lowering pulley system gear.

SAILS - Main. 3x head sails, no2, no3 (x2), storm jib, all in reasonable condition. 2x spinnaker poles (not used in last 13 years).

All safety gear. EPIRB, flares, fire extinguishers, fire blanket, first aid kit.

Any inspections welcome but please now low ball offers or time wasters. Juggling a little one is hard enough!
