After 19 years of cruising the South Gippsland coast, Mystique V is again being offered for sale. Purchased from Sandringham YC, following consecutive years of being club champion, she has been enjoying the relaxed life of cruising the Wilson's Promontory coastline.
Many improvements have been made during this time, including new Nanni 3/21 engine in 2008, Raymarine Axium touch screen chart plotter and integrated autopilot, refurbished 'V' drive, electric toilet with macerator and new skin fittings in 2023, and professional below waterline restoration and re-painting by JNC Marine, also in 2023. All aspects of the boat have been well maintained including regular slipping and engine services.
Accommodation for up to 6 people consists of a private 'V' berth and head up the bow, large quarter berth, pilot berth with lee cloth, and the dining table converting into a further double berth.
She was surveyed in October 2025 and therefore likely be accepted for insurance under the current survey.
Fast, economical, and a pleasure to sail, she is equally capable of blue water voyages and winning twilight races. A wonderful example of the classic and legendary Australian/NZ yacht with many years of sailing still in store for her.
