"Soliloque of Searles" was designed by Capt William Baily and built by R. T Searles and Son in Birkenhead SA for Penfold family (famous win makers from SA).
She was built on a "No Expense" sparred basis out of solid Jarrah (hull nail and roved) and beautiful teak inlaid decks.
The "Soliloque of Searles" has been very well maintained and significantly upgraded in recent years. She is well set up for easy cruising and features the following:
- Perkins 4236 80HP Diesel Engine
- Autohelm elm ST7000 Auto Pilot
- Raymarine Hybrid Touch Plotter / Sounder Combo
- Codan HF Marine Radio
- Lowrance VHF Marine Radio
- AM/FM Radio (and CD Stereo)
- Autohelm Wind Instruments
- Electric Anchor Windlass (NEW motor)
- Quality teak and mahogany fit out down below
