This 'As new' private-sale Stingher is in the top range of Italian boats and luxury RIBs, and it's fitted with Orange Hyperlon 20-inch tubes, making it extremely safe when standing on the side. It is highly visible, making it an excellent rescue tender.
The Stingher 340 FR is the first in the Fast Rike line, combining practicality, performance, and elegance. It is powered by a single (as-new) Suzuki 30 outboard engine, pushing the boat to around 20 kts with one person and about 17 kts with two people and some 'stuff'.
The deck has been carefully designed to offer maximum comfort for its 4/5 occupants. It is a 3.40 m RIB, but the small console has fitted a wide range of essential navigation instruments. These include an advanced Garmin fish finder and transducer, a GPS and AIS plotter, and a Garmin built-in VHF radio and tachometer.
A 20 L removable fuel tank is fitted under the centre console that tilts forward. The rear seat has a locker underneath. The bow nose is walkable and is equipped with a retractable cleat so as not to hinder passage and a separate compartment for anchor and warp. The fibreglass seating and cleats do not protrude from the Hyperlon tubes, allowing you to come into contact with the sides of larger vessels without damaging them. It is self-bailing with the bung removed, or the bilge pump can operate.
We fitted a Garmin 752Xs plotter, AIS, and Garmin 115 VHF, and it has a brand new Dunbier trailer. We have two heavy-duty fabricated stainless steel sling bars to keep the load fully distributed on davits.
The boat would suit a new owner as it is in mint condition, with 20 hours on the Suzuki 30 motor, which was fully serviced recently. It is around 190 kg on the davits, so stainless or carbon davits would be more suitable than fibreglass, and a hoist is ideal, or transom-mounted on the platform. If it is a trailer boat for lakes and launching, then the trailer is the best we could find. It is not a boat you pull up on the beach after having too much rum to contemplate turning it over to sleep underneath. This is a serious piece of kit for blue-water or rough-water boating, with a deep-V rise to keep it dry in heavy seas. Boat weight is 110 kg, and with the 30 HP Suzuki it is about 190Kg
We have had this since new, and it's spent almost its entire life on the back of our catamaran under covers until we sold our boat and purchased a new Dunbier trailer for it to sit on. Definitely worth a look.
