S/V Spark -- Tartan 4100 | 1999 | 12.57m

Spark is a well-maintained, extensively upgraded Tartan 4100 bluewater cruiser in excellent condition throughout, the owners have just return from 4 months cruising north Qld, so Spark all set ready to go cruising again. There are not many Tartans in Australia, and only two 4100's, they are a quality hand built American boat -- the Tartan 4100 is a proven offshore passage-maker, designed by Tim Jackett and built to high standards. Solid teak interior joinery, hand-laid fibreglass construction and a beavertail shoal keel (1.63m draft) make her equally at home at anchor in the Whitsundays or crossing offshore passages.

Remarks
We have had Spark for 7years and is a great boat for a cruising couple, we have cruised east Australia coast, she is and feels very safe and is very dry in the cockit, which makes her very comfortable. Maintenance and improvments have not been missed, much more than is shown in this listing. The hull is in good order, no osmosis ever seen, and rudder stock solid with no play. The rudder is direct geared drive, so no cables or chains to break. Our friends say she is too good and we shouldnt sell her, but have decided to do some overseas travel for the next few years, and dont want to leave her unused.
