The Dufour 44 is a fast, capable offshore cruising yacht that combines genuine sailing performance with exceptional onboard space, comfort and ease of handling.

Designed by Felci Yacht Design, with interior and styling by Luca Ardizio, the Dufour 44 features a modern hull form, generous beam, wide side decks, a secure cockpit, single rudder and twin helm stations. Its powerful yet balanced sail plan delivers responsive performance and excellent feedback at the helm while remaining reassuring and manageable for family cruising and longer offshore passages.

Short-handed sailing is a key strength of the Dufour 44. In the standard Easy configuration, the yacht combines an Elvstrøm full-batten Dacron mainsail with a self-tacking jib on furler, single-line reefing led aft, lazy bag and lazy jacks and two coachroof winches.

The self-tacking jib makes everyday manoeuvring particularly simple when sailing as a couple or with reduced crew, while the twin helm stations provide excellent visibility and control.

For owners prioritising maximum convenience, the Dufour 44 can also be ordered with an in-mast furling mainsail system. Combined with electric Harken winches, B&G autopilot, bow thruster and windlass controls at the helm, the Dufour 44 can be configured into an exceptionally capable short-handed offshore cruiser.

Owners looking for greater sail area and trimming flexibility can select the Ocean configuration, while the Performance configuration takes the same platform further with upgraded Offshore sails, extended boom and more sophisticated sail controls.

The Dufour 44 can also be ordered with Dufour's ODSea+ hybrid-electric propulsion and energy-management solution.
The system combines electric propulsion, lithium battery storage, onboard generation, hydrogeneration, fast charging and automated energy management to provide an alternative approach to extended cruising.
Additional lithium battery capacity and higher-capacity onboard AC power options are also available depending on the selected configuration.
