The new Elan Impression 43 has been nominated for the 2024 European Yacht of the Year Award
The timeless classic, the Elan Impression has been transformed into a brand new design with the launch of the new Impression 43.
Expertly designed by Humphreys Naval Architecture and styled by the design studio Pininfarina this exciting new model offers a high degree of comfort and an exciting sailing experience for those looking to enjoy blue water cruising. Both the hull and deck now fully vacuum infused, a light, stiff and incredibly safe construction style pioneer by Elan.
The new hull shape has a modern wide beam carried aft to maximise volume, twin rudders and a sail plan optimized for easy short-handed sailing. Self tacking jib as standard with optional genoa. The uncluttered decks enable ease of movement and flush mounted hatches extra styling. The cockpit is roomy with plenty of under seat storage and a split cockpit table that can also be lowered to provide sunbeds. The helm seating can also house optional BBQ and fridge.
This new model still incorporates the now-iconic transom seats and elegantly designed steering pods that can house the 9-inch electronics and a myriad of other instruments.
The new interior is modern, stylish & sophisticated, available in three or four-cabin versions. The three-cabin version includes an en-suite with an island bed and a spacious head with a separate shower, and the four-cabin version adds a cabin with bunk beds, perfect for families or groups of friends.
The interior is in "rustic" oak and contrasted with modern gray-coloured storage cupboards. A solid oak wood finish is applied wherever the furniture is expected to go through most use, to increase its durability.
The saloon can comfortably seat the whole family around a centre table, flanked by two solid wood chairs that fold in a pre-determined space when sailing. It can also be easily converted into a double berth.
The long side-galley features a three-ring stove with an oven and a front-opening refrigerator on the convenient L-shaped cabinet. The long layout offers plenty of surface space and cupboards for storage. The stove area is protected by easy-to-clean panels and is ventilated by a hatch above.
Grab rails line the ceiling to ensure for safe movement when underway.
The flooring is on one level with no hidden steps.
As with all yachts built by Elan the focus is on quality and not quantity and the use of quality components that wont let you down.
New model available for viewing at our base in Darling Harbour, Sydney. Contact us on for details.
