Succeeding the now-retired Elan Impression 43, this exciting new model features a refined design with numerous enhancements.

Crafted by Humphreys Naval Architecture and styled by the renowned Pininfarina design studio, the Impression 45 offers unparalleled comfort and a thrilling sailing experience, ideal for bluewater cruising enthusiasts. The hull and deck are fully vacuum-infused, a lightweight and robust construction method pioneered by Elan for superior safety.

The Impression 45 showcases a modern hull shape with a wide beam carried aft to maximise volume, twin rudders, and a sail plan optimized for effortless short-handed sailing. Standard features include a self-tacking jib, with an optional genoa and in-mast furling mainsail available. The uncluttered decks facilitate ease of movement, while flush-mounted hatches enhance the yacht's sleek appearance. The spacious cockpit includes ample under-seat storage, a split cockpit table that can be lowered to create sunbeds, and helm seating that can accommodate an optional BBQ and fridge.

This new model retains the iconic transom seats and elegantly designed steering pods, which can house 9-inch electronics and a variety of other instruments.

The interior of the Impression 45 is modern, stylish, and sophisticated, available in three- or four-cabin configurations. The three-cabin version features an en-suite with an island bed, a spacious head with a separate shower, while the four-cabin version includes an additional cabin with bunk beds, ideal for families or groups.

The interior design features "rustic" oak contrasted with contemporary gray storage cupboards. High-use areas are finished in solid oak for enhanced durability. The saloon provides comfortable seating around a central table, complemented by two solid wood chairs that fold away when sailing. This space can also be easily converted into a double berth.

The long side-galley boasts a three-ring stove with an oven and a front-opening refrigerator within a convenient L-shaped cabinet. The layout offers ample surface space and storage cupboards, with easy-to-clean stove area panels and ventilation provided by a hatch above.

Safety is paramount, with grab rails lining the ceiling for secure movement underway and a level flooring system with no hidden steps.

As with all Elan yachts, the Impression 45 emphasises quality over quantity, utilising top-notch components designed to withstand the test of time.
