Meet the Rapier 400, crafted by Broadblue,  A'r môr dirion. It's not just a catamaran; it's a fusion of safety, speed, and family comfort. Designed to thrill like a racing yacht yet provide the security of a family cruiser, this vessel boasts ultramodern lightweight composite construction and a high-performance rig, delivering the sailing excitement every enthusiast craves. What sets the Rapier 400 apart is its exceptional sea-keeping abilities and the innovative Broadblue Rapier single saloon and cockpit layout, creating ample space for the entire family to enjoy. Its clever sail plan ensures all lines lead back to the fully enclosed cockpit/salon area, allowing you to operate the vessel safely offshore without sacrificing performance. This versatile three-cabin owner's version catamaran is a rare gem, meticulously outfitted for safe and efficient offshore cruising. Creature comforts such as a watermaker, generous solar array on a rigid stainless steel frame, dinghy davits, electric halyard winch, electric heads, heated cabin sole, new batteries and more... Someone is going to get an amazing deal on this Catamaran!Owner's Comments:When we were looking to buy a catamaran, my primary concern was safety with an ability to sail well. Since owning R5 I have sailed down to the med and back for two summers. I would leave with a couple of crew, and my family would fly out once we got there. The most we had on her at one time was 6 of us, and it was comfortable and worked well. Sailing in the UK, the covers are always on, we are warm and safe inside as all sailing can be done from the saloon. Once we had crossed Biscay and reached Spanish waters the covers come off and it's like having a different boat. There are secure hatches down to the cabins, so security is never a concern and the covers don't go on again until a similar position on the return journey. On the first journey home we encountered a F10 subtropical storm in Biscay... Sub-tropical storm Stephanie. We had 6-7 m seas, with occasionally waves breaking over the top of the boat. All the covers were on and we were inside in normal clothes... Safe and dry! There is 360* view from the helm and I can leave and return to a mooring or a pontoon on my own. All lines lead to the cockpit, and the view of the boat and sails is great. Single / shorthanded sailing is very easy. Before we bought her, we chartered a boat of another brand for two weeks in Greece, with 7 of us. 4 cabins, 4 head, lots of room. A good boat to charter. But we motored a lot. On one sail we had 20kn on the beam and we were doing 7.5kn. In R5, we would be doing in excess of 12kn. I also wouldn't want to be in a F10 in that boat!

AccommodationStepping into the cockpit, it's evident that this catamaran is far from ordinary. A sense of offshore safety envelops you as everything appears meticulously placed. Custom cork decking lines the cabin sole and seats, complemented by a full enclosure that can be conveniently rolled up, along with large hatches for fresh breezes and shade screens. All lights are LED. All hatches and portlights have mosquito screens. All deck hatches have canvas sun covers. The companion ways' steps are teak and holly with red courtesy lights. Moving aft, you encounter the helm area, complete with Raymarine chartplotter, multifunction displays, and engine indicators. Access to all switches for interior lighting, navigation lights, and even floodlights illuminating the sails for night trimming is conveniently located here. Just forward, a spacious refrigerated bench seating area awaits, surrounded by folding teak chairs and a stylish teak table. To port and starboard, winches and jammers facilitate sail handling, with dedicated storage space to keep lines tidy. Forward lies a generously sized countertop with ample storage below, featuring a double stainless sink and a glass/propane cooktop, a unique find that caught my attention. The owner's cabin resides to port. Descending the stairs reveals a queen-sized berth flanked by ample storage and a screened hanging locker ensuring proper ventilation. Just forward, the navigation station boasts a fold-down seat, well-equipped for serious offshore cruising. Continuing forward, you find a head with a spacious vanity and an electric toilet. To starboard, an identical berth awaits, with additional refrigeration and dry goods storage located forward and inboard. Thoughtfully crafted cabinetry is abundant throughout the vessel, maximizing storage efficiency. Everywhere you turn, you'll notice clever utilization of space. Further forward, a crew berth and another head are neatly arranged, completing the accommodations. HULLS HEADROOM1.9m / 6 FtSALOON HEADROOM1.9m / 6 FtGalley Equipment
