This Ocean worthy and performance catamaran was built in France (1996), designed by Lock Crowther, and has been improved over the years.
Very protected cockpit, but still spacious, allows for safe sailing either for adults or kids. She recently circumnavigated the globe with a family of 4, including 2 young children. Simple and robust systems, old school yacht construction with more care and attention when compared to recent catamarans.
Lightweight and with a good hydro and aero dynamic design that allows to sail sooner and fast under light winds, keeping engine use very rare. With strong winds you can keep the speed but with a lot less sail up that regular cats, which makes it much safer and comfortable. Tilted bows along with big daggerboards allow for good sailing against the wind.
Fully independent from marinas, equipped with 1,6kW solar, 500W Hydro gen, 400W wind gen and 70L/h DC, this cat allows to sail to the most remote places in the world in comfort and fast.
Catamaran is in Portugal, now sailing to Madeira island and returning to Lisbon mid September. Available for visits upon arrival.
