Clair de Lune 1, a 2003 Fountaine Pajot Bahia 46, is a highly respected catamaran amongst sailors. Over the last 18 months she has proven to be a comfortable, capable bluewater cruiser for our family and we have enjoyed our liveaboard adventures along the Queensland coast.

Prior to purchasing, we did not have any sailing experience, a testament to the ease of her handling and well designed systems and layout. The broader hulls, high bridge deck clearance and low center of gravity, significantly enhances comfort, stability and performance in rough seas. 4 double cabins, 2 heads, shower, laundry, plus a well-equipped galley-up design and generous saloon with a ridiculous amount of storage has allowed us to stay offshore for extended periods of time.

The cockpit is deep-set with high coamings and enclosed by lifelines and guard rails, offering a secure space ideal for families or offshore passages. A single, centrally located helm station is positioned at the aft bulkhead of the cockpit. This design ensures excellent visibility, seamless communication between skipper and crew, and enhanced safety under way. Engine rooms are huge and well isolated, enhancing comfort, and twin engines give redundancy--great for bluewater cruising.
