Catalina is an "owners version" June 2006 42' MANTA MKII and is exceptionally clean, well maintained, well equipped, completely appointed with many upgrades and replacements ready for a long-range cruising. Just load food, drink and clothing and take off. Over 125 built in Florida USA, with no expense spared, the Manta 42 has a loyal following with an active support group. This model Manta is consistently rated as one of the best cruising catamarans ever built. Catalina has been converted to 240 Volt and 12 volt systems. There is a fleet of 4 in the Southeast Queensland area and with other Mantas cruising worldwide and around Australia. Catalina has made numerous trips up the Queensland coast in comfort, safety and with no issues. An out of water independent survey in January 2023 reported: "The condition of the boat is ABOVE AVERAGE - Has had above-average care with no obvious defects or limitations. A high standard, build with a high standard of maintenance and has been demonstrated in all aspects of vessel housekeeping. The vessel was dry and the hull structurally sound.
Cosmetic maintenance: Manta Mk II hull finish above water is in excellent condition.

Main (approx. 90 sqm) with two reefs in place back to electric winch with third reef points Genoa. Screecher (approx. 65 sqm) and new top hardware. All in good condition. Main sail protected by custom bag with lazy jacks.
Mast / Rigging
Running and standing rigging were replaced in 2018. Main halyard and jib halyard. Main sheet and jib sheets. Two single line mainsail reefs. (Provision for 3rd reef on mainsail). Jib roller reef. Dutchman boom brake. Garhauer 20:1 solid Boom vang, Substantial aluminium hard top with davits and storage and swing seat.
Deck Gear
Electric winch in the cockpit. Harken 40 Screecher winch located mid rear seating. Halyard winch at the mast. Electric drill winch insert for operating pulling up dinghy, port side line runs to main electric winch to pull up dinghy. 2 x boat hoooks.
