Mumby 48 Just Listed

The boat underwent a 6 month re-vamp at Tim Mumby yard in the Philippines, as I was preparing to circumnavigate Australia, however, my young family is not ready yet to continue the trip to the East coast of Australia, so our beloved Mumby is up for sale.

In 2024, I sailed over 4000NM from Carmen, Cebu (Philippines), going south through Indonesia and all the way to Perth, through the wild western Australia coastline, arriving in Perth in Dec 2024. The boat was fully imported into Australia with all the taxes and fees paid, it was also inspected and registered in Western Australia, so it can easily be transferred to any other estate. SATOLEP is available now and providing the rare opportunity to purchase this highly sought after vessel tha has been built and fitted to high standards, it is currently located at Mandurah marina (South of Perth).

Most of the electronics are new, replaced in 2024, including Raymarine autopilot, VHF radio, AIS, depth sounder, wind indicator and I70 displays.

The electric system is also new, upgraded in 2024, including LED lights throughout the boat, house batteries - 600Ah LifePO4,2 x engine batteries, Balmar alternator regulator x2, Victron Orion DC -DC charger x2, Victron cerbo and display, solar panels, MPPT solar regulator, 3000W inverter, LED spreader & cockpit lights, water pumps x2, Caframo fans x4, Auto bilge pumps x6, shower sumps with auto pumps x3.

The engines and its auxiliaries were either serviced or replaced, including oil change out, fuel and oil filters, V belts, impellers, exhaust mufflers/hoses, dripless seals and cutlass bearings

All windows and hatches polycarbonate were replaced, and the deck area was repainted.

Note: I have arranged to carry out the full rigging replacement in May 2025, so if the buyer choose not to proceed or complete at later stage, I will reduce the asking price by AUD $20K.
