Super lightweight build strip plank cedar and high density foam with lots of carbon reinforcement and E glass layup by Ross Blair in Noosa. Built to Mark Pescott design & engineering.

Fully fitted out, harken downwind sail handling, Selden main handling, harken traveler. Mast winches for hoisting sails with undermast hub for mast and racing mode. Has a single hand cruising mode and a crewed setup.
Jeffa autopilot drive driven by B&G NAC 3 computer. Your silent and skilled watch leader whilst cruising, and very competitive second helmsperson. All the smarts availsble from B&G.
Current model Full Zeus S chartplotter with 9" display. B&G Triton repeaters. This is not yet installed but is plug and play NMEA 2000 designed to be placed sbove chart table.
Designed to cruise shorthanded or race with a crew with an ocean ready, powerful auto pilot drive unit to make it easier.
Carbon square top main and 120% carbon Genoa for optimized OMR main 70sq /m, Genoa 30 sq /m.
Carbon aft beam and rudder stocks, carbon for beam & seagull Stryker to keep weight out of the ends.
Performance is s function of sail area to weight, 3.5 tonnes OMR light ship, 5 tonne cruising mode. Bridgedeck clearance 920mm. Hull to beam ratio at waterline 11:1. Pescott reputation in hull design shape. Ross Blair reputation for composit layup optimisation. Carbon forebeam & seagull stryker, carbon aftbox beam, rudder and steering system. Stronger stiffer and lighter than any production boat design.. This boat is build to remain competitive for years to come. Did not want full carbon layup as that makes cruising horrible and noisy. 500 ltrs water midships. And a hull to beam ratio of 10+
Twin Yamaha 9.9 outboards can be raised out of water whilst sailing to reduce drag. Cruises 7/8 knots under motors easily driven hulls.
Lambourne engineered rig lightweight aluminium.
Interior furniture vacuum bagged light strong part of structural stiffness. Interior and exterior epoxy paint finish, high quality light weight. Real easy to maintain. It's pretty well as designed see schematic, simple clean faired satin interior finish.
Accomodation
Twin forward single berths, plus two queen size over bridge deck, pilot berth midships in nav area to starboard. One double berth aft port side behind galley area. Heads inc shower to starboard aft compost toilet and vanity inc holding tank fitted in stbd aft hull, if plumbed system preferred.
Ample storage in each cabin under bunk and in shelving. In main cabins.
Large storage in aft hulls behind aft beam. Best kept emplty for racing. But useful for cruising.
Hatches fitted on deck for good air circulation and bright interior with widows along each hull outboard.
All plumbing fittings bought not fitted.
Full B&G chartplotter and instruments available.
Blank canvas fit electrical system to your needs. Plan was ecoflw delta solar generator, unit plug and play. Control manage on a simple app on your smartphone to configure from anywhere.
Philosophy is all boat systems are plug and play to simplify trouble shooting and maintenance. Motor problem, take it ashore get it fixed. Same for instruments and electrics, plus lighter simpler to manage
Needs berth cussions but main cabins designed for queen mattresses, can be oriented for and aft whilst on the move or cross ways at anchor with steps either side so as not to disturb partner,
Furniture part of structural stiffness lightweight vacuum bagged construction. Aka refit of Paikea a catana lock crowther design on you tube Chanel young barnacles.
Fit out is clean low maintenance, flooring teak look removable soft mats in hulls.
Excel sarca anchor 5 over sized with 20 meters of stainless steel chain and brand new windless. Solid no compromise anchor setup in place.
Plan was to race it in Australian and Asia for a few years to do circuit, kings cup, raja muda, South china sea race and Pesidents cup. Various fun regattas in Queensland.
boat is on hardstand between Brisbane and Gold coast.
Boat is copper coated 4 coats, ready for mast to be stepped and sail away.
Price quoted is for half share in around $300 Aud. Can't do it on my own any more looking for financial partner who wants adventure and warm weather cruising around Asia. And comes along for the ride on Asian OMR circuit. Will likely put with broker soon.
This boat is build to go fast and is open bridge deck low drag currently but is designed to be closed off easily once racing days done. Think seawind.
Easy to fit clears to give sea wind like cabriolet enclosed bridge deck for cruising, allows best of both worlds.
call me lots of extras but boat has not been launched sitting in yard. Ready for stepping rigging quickly.
Ready quickly to sail away, ! deliver it with me to points north, ready easy for May departure when SE trades kick in.
