Launched in 2020, built in Newcastle by professional shipwright and with influence and design from Brett Schionning, Flight Mode also boasts a premium-quality interior designed by renowned Sydney and New York designers, BKH.

The 1400C is based on the high-performance G-Force design with a higher displacement and payload / storage capacity for the cruising minded. The owner and builder have ensured that this catamaran's light weight and superior strength are achieved with the use of quality composite build materials, Duflex balsa core / Epoxy and carbon reinforcement.

With her elegant forward raking bows and unmistakable Schionning G-Force lines, Flight Mode delivers outstanding cruising performance. Her Lambourne-designed alloy rig and North 3Di sails create the perfect balanced sailing combination. Twin helms are in easy reach of all winches and lines, set up to ensure safe and efficient short-handed sailing experience.

Twin Oceanvolt 15kW electric motors provide effortless and silent propulsion through the water under power, with throttle controls at both helms for parking ease. With the impressive battery and solar bank along with 5000w inverter and back up diesel genset, you will never be short of power and range.

Boasting a large carbon-reinforced covered cockpit and easy walk-through to the air-conditioned saloon and well-equipped galley, Flight Mode is the ultimate mid-sized luxury performance cruising catamaran.

Sleeping accommodation for six is provided in two comfortable queen bed cabins with two single forward bunks. The bespoke fit-out is evident in the design of the two identical bathrooms either side with separate head and shower and ceiling-mounted shower roses.
