Accommodation
In the saloon, the U-shaped dinette has a huge table that has two folding leaves to easily convert to 'coffee table' mode, can also convert to a large day bed. The port hull has the head and shower aft, the master double berth amidships and a single berth forward. The starboard hull has the galley amidships with plenty of storage and refrigeration. Aft is a double berth cabin and forward cabin has a small desk and settee ideal for a home office and single berth.
The hardtop has been extended to the maximum length possible, making the saloon a huge covered area. The hardtop can be walked on, allowing easy access to the boom.
All fixed windows were professionally replaced in 2024, eliminating the normal 'cracked black window' look of most Seawinds.
Ventilation through the boat is excellent with large opening windows on the forward side of the saloon and opening deck hatches for both hulls. All hatches have covers for sun protection. Additional stainless steel hand holds in the cockpit make moving around in a seaway safe and easy.
Padded seats and backs for cockpit seating.
Additional helm chairs.
Mirrors on lockers in each cabin.
All lights are LED.
Main berth has reading lights, fan, TV with DVD player and bookcase.
All cabins have fans, reading lights and 12V outlets.

Remarks
With sporty sailing characteristics and simple systems, the Seawind 1000XL is a pleasure to own and operate. Se can be operated as an affordable "weekend warrior" or be an excellent cruising platform for a couple or small family. The vessel was hauled out and antifouled and topsides polished September 2024 and topsides detail in August 2025. She has never been bareboat chartered. Classic Seawind 1000XL in very good condition, and as you have read, many recent upgrades. Having the extended hardtop over the helm stations not only protects skipper at either of the helms from the elements, but increases the internal volume of the saloon area considerably. Another added advantage is that this also protects the instrumentation and engine controls.
