Designed by the renowned Roger Simpson, Side by Side is a very spacious, easy to sail, comfortable and well-constructed, proven cruising catamaran. The hulls are composed of a fibreglass foam core sandwich epoxy/glass. Her strong and lightweight construction provides excellent sailing performance and she can easily be sailed solo. Drawing just under one metre means more anchorage options for you and with 1000 watts of solar, 700+ amps of battery capacity and 1800 watt inverter, she has plenty of power for your coffee machine, blender, and all your devices. She can sit on her keels for easy hull maintaince and has removable window hardcover storm, shade and heat covers (Fantasitic for keeping the cabins cool). Two Yanmar diesels, one reconditioned in 2025 will power you along when theres no wind, although she sails much faster.
