Wharram Tiki 36ft Hybrid Design - One of a kind

For sale is my beloved Catamaran. This vessel turns heads and gets comments everywhere I have sailed!!
She is a dream boat for the tropics, camping on the water but a bit of luxury... Split system air conditioner in the pod ;)
To save time my baby owes me over $75,000.... But I'm open to offers around $55,000, not too much movement there but certainly open to offers.

'Tali is currently in south indonesia, she is an Australian registered vessel and has many miles to her name traveling around Australia and since I've owned her heading between Aus and indo.
'Tali' is one of a kind, designed and built in Bundaberg Qld just over 20 years ago. This vessel is a very shallow draft at less than 0.5m making it incredible to get into the places not many other cruisers can.

I purchased 'Tali' 3 years ago in Darwin and immediately put it on the Hardstand for 1 year doing a complete refit and getting it ready to hunt surf and fish in Indo and beyond!
The reason for me selling her is because I have worked in the Maritime industry for many years and know that if boats aren't getting used they start to fall apart and I have put too much love into this boat to have it sitting there if I don't have the time to go cruising just yet.

Total costs spent including purchase of vessel and refit exceed $75,000, a lot of the work I completed myself with assistance from capable friends and trades.
She is not a luxury yacht, all the work is extremely solid and I trust with my life, but some things don't look pretty (I'm not a professional painter or fiberglasser but for what she's designed for it's perfect!)

Tali's hull is constructed with glass over ply, bilges filled with many layers of glass and all ply has been treated and painted with epoxy then painted again with 2 pack epoxy paint.

There has been a minor repair to the hull above the waterline from previous owner which he was honest and pointed out to me, and I was happy with the repair but decided to add extra layers of glass inside to go a little overboard.
The beams are in great condition and I personally lashed them 2 years ago so no need to adjust any time soon.
I had all rigging checked by professional rigger in Darwin and all was perfect.
Everything in terms of being seaworthy she is ready to go, with sails in good condition and all set up with quality chart plotter, Ais, rocna anchor and plenty more.

Cosmetics I tried to keep as simple as possible because I planned to head remote, manual pump toilet, manual anchor winch, hand pump Solar shower, 100L fridge freezer.
I have more Solar than I could possibly use and am only using 2 of the 4 panels, all are working.
I like sleeping comfortably so I splashed out on getting a foam mattress worth $1,000 and a split system Ari Conditioner, many luxury yachts can't believe I have it which is nice in this climate.

Engine is a 9.8 tohatsu in the center pod, it is only a few years old and has been extremely reliable. I will have to get it serviced but should someone be interested I also have the ability to source another 9.9 high thrust Yamaha which I may end up buying either way. At your own expense I could source any other engine you may wish if you want something bigger.

Again if your looking for luxury, this boat isn't for you. But if your looking for a downwind machine that is screaming to sail up to mentawai's or Papua and beyond this is for you!

The boat is Australian registered and still has 1.5 years Indonesia visa but should you wish to purchase we have to go up to a nearby island to finalize everything (Politics).
I'm currently overseas but if you message directly here or email me at
sv. outlook. Com I'm happy to answer any further queries
