Kestrel features Doyle Carbon sails from 2022, a new internal Volvo diesel engine with only 170 hours a folding prop and self tacking headsail. Her bottom was sanded, epoxied and faired in 2019 and is regularly dived on and cleaned. The topsides were professionaly painted in 2020 and she was hauled out and antifouled in October 2023.
