Pedigree, history and heritage describe this fast and comfortable Adams 12.

Huge price reduction to meet the market. I am a serious about selling this boat sooner than later. This is the best Adams you will find. I have another project to move on to so I am a keen seller. If this interests you please make an offer. The boat is currently in Bundaberg. I plan to sail it to Mooloolaba by Oct 15th 2026.

The important ingredients: All new rigging March 2024, Powered by a rebuilt Perkins 4-108 with less than 100 hours installed in April 2025. Rebuilt injector pump. Full service Oct 2026. Keel and keel bolts sound and secure. The latest Raymarine Axiom suite including Quantum radar. New stainless through hull fittings in 2022.10 winches recently serviced with everything controlled from the cockpit. 4 x VHF plus HF radios, near new lifejackets and safety equipment. Wired for Starlink. Anti-fouled March 2025. An out of water insurance survey from August 2026 is available for serious enquiries. Receipts available for more than $59k spent since 2023.

Designed by Joe Adams, this aft cockpit version was built in 1983 by the Trewartha Brothers in Warrnambool Victoria for a member of the Royal Brighton Yacht Club Vic to compete in the 1984 Sydney Hobart race. (and again in 1988). This Adams 12 is known and respected as a safe, fast, vice-free offshore capable cruising yacht with a remarkably successful racing record and pedigree. Carina is comprehensively equipped and has benefited from a solid program of continuous upgrades and maintenance. The well-laid-out cruising interior with 6'2" headroom makes for comfortable cruising. The vessel is set up to be safely sailed single handed, or by a couple or a small family.
