There is very little to fault this most impressive Joe Adams designed Australian Registered blue water cruiser. Steely Dan has, since being launched, covered some serious nautical miles having cruised the Pacific with her previous owner and with her current owner, circumnavigated Australia, spent time in the Louisiades and most recently cruised the waters of Tasmania. When her current owner purchased her in 2015 she was given a a serious upgrade including a new engine, a sand blasted hull and deck, mast removal for rewiring and refurbishment along with new standing rigging and winches. She is an exceptionally well built vessel with a 5mm steel hull and 3mm decks presenting very nicely throughout with lots of teak, good quality soft furnishings, and plenty of space for the crew both above and below decks and enough berths to sleep eight if required. All lines lead back to the cockpit, she has plenty of safety gear, lots of hand holds throughout and anchor remote, so she's perfectly set up for single or short handed sailing. After many adventures, Steely Dan is now in Brisbane Australia, was antifouled in May 2023, and is ready to go to a new owner. Buyers should be confident that she will not only comfortably pass her survey inspection but will continue to provide safe, enjoyable and fast cruising to where ever you might choose to take her.
