Length
44' - 13.41m
Vessel Location
Manly (Brisbane) QLD
Launch Year
1990
Hull Material
Fibreglass/GRP composite foam with solid grp in keel and load areas [ all hand laid]

The vessel is 44 ft with 12 ft 4 beam and 4 ft 9 draft extending to 9 ft 6 inches when centre plate is lowered. This is a high ballast ratio vessel.
Custom built deck over sawn deck beams give heaps of headroom [that's a nice change].
Vessel is very solid under foot.
In 2011 the engine was replaced with a 4 cyl 50 HP Kubota based Nanni diesel.
In 2016 the Whitlock rack and pinion steering was replaced.
In 2018 the hull was taken back to bare glass below the waterline / re-faired, epoxy coated. There were no blisters.
In 2021 the hull was completely repainted in two pack. The mast and boom were removed and repainted and new rigging installed as part of the refurbishment.
A new 12 volt Muir anchor winch recently fitted.
Responsible and experienced owners for the past 17 years, with the boat constantly in use.
A 2019 Barry Colson survey report is available.

I may be a bit biased here but I am a definite fan of the ADAMS design theory. Very easily driven hull. Fine entry. Sensible deadrise carried through the full length of the hull [minimises pounding to windward]. Sensible keel design with encapsulated ballast. The boat can take a grounding [that's a nice change]. These are still a fast hull and a delight to steer on all points of sail.

Mast/rigging refurbishment was in 2021.
Jib headsail by Doyle on furler by Topliss Reefurl.
Mainsail boom furling by Hood.

This is a true offshore built vessel rigged for the rough stuff, presented and equipped, ready to go to sea.

Very few owners go to the extent and cost to prepare their boat for sale as this couple has. The pride they take in their boat is evident.
