Hull Material
Steel Round bilge - very fair hull with matchless paint finish
Jamarkiri is a steel hulled centre cockpit blue water cruiser. She is every inch the cruisers offshore round the world sailing dream yacht.
This round bilged steel cruiser was launched in 2018 (only 5 years in the water) and fitted with high quality components throughout. She has ample tankage for both water and diesel. As per Graham Radfords' design brief, all tankage is below the waterline and all throughulls extend above the waterline. The steep entry and three quarter length keel make for a vessel that has superb seakeeping and the cutter rig allows for fine tuning the sail plan to suit any weather conditions. When the wind is fickle, you can start the marinised Nissan 70Hp diesel engine, which will maintain 5-6 knots at a paltry 3l of diesel per hour (depending on conditions). The sugar scoop stern allows easy access to the water and the large deck locker will hold all your swim / dive gear with ease.
As you step through the boarding gates, you will be impressed by the wide, uncluttered decks. The hard dodger incorporates 6mm tempered glass windows which offer all round viewing while keeping out of the weather. The topsides and deck are 3mm steel, with 4mm steel below the waterline. All corners, toerails, rub rails, scuppers and fairleads are stainless steel to reduce maintenance. The entire vessel has been painted with wattle paint systems (spare on board) and the finish is immaculate. Particular attention was paid during the build process to ensuring that primer was applied immediately after sandblasting to ensure no part of the vessel was exposed for any length of time.
This bluewater vessel has the legs to go any distance, with a 120l/hr watermaker, lithium batteries (Australian standards compliant installation) and sails that have less than 2500 miles on them. The solid railings add class and safety to an already classy boat, and the dinghy davits add to the overall look of the vessel. All lines run back to the cockpit where five Lewmar winches are available to manage the sails. Also fitted with a bow thruster, Jamarkiri is a gem inside tight marinas, able to spin around within her own length. The centre cockpit can be fully enclosed by clears which creates a completely seperate room on the yacht. It also makes for a very pleasant helming experiance, giving the skipper and crew shelter in all weather conditions. The aluminium hard top allows easy access to the boom when packing the sail.
The aluminium dinghy has been sandblasted and repainted and with the addition of genuine "Kapten collar" floatation makes it a real go-anywhere / do anything tender. Fitted with an almost new (20 Hr service recently completed) 6Hp Yamaha four stroke, the fuel economy is nothing short of spectacular. Dinghy storage is customised either by hard point connection (sailing stowage) or by block and tackle (anchor stowage).
The living quarters have not been forgotten, with the interior fitted out fashionably with Tasmanian Blackbutt, Blackwood and Huon pine adding the finishing touches. The Vitrifrigo two drawer fridge freezer offers fantastic storage and full accessibility to your cold goods. The aft stateroom has a full sized queen bed, with a custom made inner spring mattress. A recessed television is mounted on the fwd bulkhead. Accessed via a door is the technical compartment with custom storage racks holding all tools and spare parts. All pumps, electrics and watermaker components are mounted in the technical compartment for ease of service.
The huge galley has a deep sink and a gimballed Broadwater stove and oven. A convection microwave in installed in a recessed compartment and is easily accessible from the galley. The fwd cabin is set up as a Vee berth, with closets either side of a soft door. This guarantees privacy for guests on board.
This vessel has just completed a cruise from Tasmania to north Queensland and is lacking nothing. With a full suite of Raymarine electronics (list below), bow thruster, composting toilet, solar and a brand new Yamaha generator, there is no journey that cannot be undertaken in this boat right now. Anti-Fouling was completed in November 2022 using two full coats of Wattyl "Seapro CU120" with and extra two coats applied around the waterline. There is literally nothing on the "to do" list. Current paid Tasmanian registration until December 2025.
Family commitments force an unexpected sale.

Remarks
Jamarkiri was well made, we finished and has been very well looked after. She is really a beautiful, functional boat with modifications and customisation that really enhance her "cruisability". Being a young boat - she will continue to turn heads wherever she goes and can be held up as an example of how a steel boat can look when the stars align.
