Safe strong Blue water cruiser complete refit like new.
I just finished a full paint job on her and new antifouling 2 weeks ago had her valued and certified for insurance purposes lots of time and money spent on her
Five years ago a full refit including sandblasting inside and out, fresh silky oak fit out brand- new Engine, Gearbox, shaft, electronics, the works, it's basically a new yacht with a refurbished hull.

I was told it was a navy boat but since have talking to a owner down the line he believes it was a not navy boat but a cobalt steel yacht a steel which back then was used for military purposes and quote was a luxury sydney harbour pleasure yacht.

It was a yawl, launched in 53, with a 54 air cooled Enfield, horizontally opposed pistons X2.
Totally alloy engine commonly used in tanks running a Genset in the desert.
It cruised Sydney Harbour and had the largest ladies washroom/head. ( Still has huge head )

So bit unsure of the model he couldn't remember, I've only had Garuda for 3 years

19mm plate, oil filled with 3 or 4 lead placements

Running gear
- 48hp New Yanmar with brand new borgwarner gearbox as well
- Brand new shaft with drip less ceramic bearing
- Brand new electric hydraulic steering (new octopus and everything line and fitting is brand new)
- 2 x 400l diesel tanks witch run to a 100l day tank, all new hoses filters, fittings, pump
everythings new, the cooler, the pong box, ball valves hoses fittings ect.

Hull
- Beautiful round bilge ! Built right !
- Sandblasted inside and out with anything thin replaced, thick strong navy steel and thick frames
- all new skin fittings and ball valves

Sail gear and rigging
- Brand new thick steel rigging, you won't ever break that rigging for a long time
- The main was made by fisher befor he finshed up in cairns, its afew years old.
- spinnaker s there and in good condition
- Selection of jibs to play with all different sizes small to large
- Genoa with cover and new self furling unit
- lines are good or new
- lots of nice winches including self tailers

Ground Tackle
- Brand new electric Argo Quick winch
