Alan Wright designs are known for being a fast and seaworthy traditionally based yacht, with the quality of a New Zealand build.

'Shiraz II' is a customised 37ft Alan Wright design that has proven offshore sailing credentials as a great coastal cruiser that is comfortable, highly manageable and easy to sail.

Stepping onto 'Shiraz II' you enter a spacious cockpit with a teak seating area and a central helm wheel with plenty of storage in the lazarettes and side pockets. Off the transom on stainless steel davits is a new Highlander inflatable dinghy with a new 4 stroke 8hp Yamaha outboard. Moving forward on the deck to the bow there is a new Maxwell electric winch with hand controls in the cockpit and main cabin.

Moving below to the main cabin you will find the galley on the port mid-section with plenty of storage and counter space. Starboard mid-section is the ample navigation station with storage underneath. The electrics have been rewired and all central for easy use.

There is a 4-person dinette to the port side and a well-appointed sofa to the starboard, stylishly decorated with an easy care blue fabric and lined with timber, again with plenty of storage under the seating. This leads to an enclose toilet and shower. There is a double 'V' berth at the bow and a double berth on the starboard side at the stern, including the sofa, 'Shiraz II' can sleep up to 5 people comfortably.

Easy access to the 35hp Yanmar diesel engine is behind the main cabin entrance stairs. The 3 x 80-watt solar panels makes this vessel ideal for off-shore sailing being controlled by a Vitron system. New rigging installed in 2022.

'Shiraz II' will suit solo sailor, live aboard or family cruiser. She will definitely impress - all round. Inspect for yourself!
