Ukulele is a magnificent OVNI 43 Sonate keelboat. This aluminum sailboat was built in 1993 by the Alubat shipyard and designed by Philippe Briand for offshore sailing. Its owner acquired it in 2023 in the Caribbean and then undertook extensive work to make it even more comfortable and safe.
A fixed aluminum bimini has been installed. This sailboat is in very good condition. Come and discover it.
The goal is to sail to Polynesia via the Panama Canal. The OVNI 43 Ukulele arrived in Tahiti in October 2024. The end of a journey with a few last escapes to the islands in recent months before finding a new owner for new projects.
Ukulele is equipped with three beautiful cabins and a saloon that can be converted into a sleeping area.
The sails were changed in 2024, and there is also a large energy production capacity with 900 watts of solar panels, a 140 L/h watermaker, a wind turbine, and a generator that allow this OVNI 43 to be completely self-sufficient.
This dinghy with a draft of 0.80m with the keel raised allows you to anchor in the crystal clear, shallow waters of our Polynesian lagoons. Its aluminum bilge hull is designed to withstand all seas. This sailboat will allow you to explore all the Polynesian archipelagos or set sail for distant destinations in complete safety.
Noteworthy features:
Last antifouling applied in 2024
Mainsail and staysail replaced in 2024
7 x 105 A batteries from 2024
Electric winches and bow thruster
Hb engine from 2024
