Arcadia III is a great all rounder: fast cruising in comfort, round the cans racing, ocean racing, all short or fully crewed.

Her ergonomics are exceptional for 2 handed sailing, with main sheet, back stay, traveller and foresail sheets all within easy reach from the titanium wheel. A B&G chart plotter with adjustable mount ensures navigation and performance information is instantly available to the helmsperson whether sitting or standing. She was designed by Joubert Nivelt with many intelligent design decisions making life at sea practical and pleasurable. Despite her sleek lines, there is plenty of space below decks with accommodation for up to eight in three doubles and two singles. The galley is amidship with a simple metho stove and toaster. Cooking is easy in a seaway with all necessities within easy reach. The enclosed head has hot and cold water, shower, basin and a manual marine toilet. There is also room for hanging wet weather gear. The saloon area includes a sturdy dining table, seating, nav station, fridge etc, and is a comfortable.

Sailing Arcadia III is a pure pleasure, with a retractable bow sprit and asym making downwind sailing a blast. Upwind, she has a large assortment of sails to suit the conditions including a mixture of Doyle and North carbon sails (#1 heavy, #1 light, #2,#3, Jib Top, Genoa), a "bullet proof" Hydranet #2, Cruising Main and Genoa, and various spinnakers. In addition, she has loads of equipment and spares including a liferaft, dinghy, heavy duty cruising anchor, safety equipment, B&G instruments etc etc.
