The Bavaria Cruiser 42 is a well-balanced, practical yacht built for comfortable family or friends' cruising. This yacht with 2.1m draft is Ideal for blue-water cruising, offering exceptional helm sensations in a 42-foot monohull. 'Fandango' is fitted with state of the art systems and a suite of new electronics equipment, complete solar system, watermaker, new sails, dinghy and near new rigging.

Being a 3-cabin version everyone can enjoy their own space with two large aft cabins, each with hanging lockers and shelved storage, overhead led touch lighting and Sirocco fans for the hot days and nights. The master cabin's island bed allows the best of sleeps despite the conditions with adjoining ensuite with shower.

Cruising gear includes an efficient water maker which is easily activated and runs with the power of the solar system. Hot water at anchor is also a luxurious commodity thanks to the surplus supply of solar power available on 'Fandango'.

One of the unique features include the LED cockpit lights with interchanging colours (watch the video linked in photos). These can be operated by a switch at the table or from your phone to light up the cockpit or transom on approach by dinghy at night.

Thanks to twin helms, access to and from the water is a breeze with a generous transom step up to the cockpit. The transom is fitted with a hot and cold shower mixer, a gas BBQ with its' own dedicated gas bottle, rod holders - and to boost you can cook, shower and fish in the shade of the bimini arch. 'Fandango' has a full suite of navy Sunbrella canvas covers in great condition. This includes full cockpit dodger, bimini and infill, table and accessories cover, wheel covers, winches x 4, BBQ and companionway.

A very sturdy s/s davits was custom made to fit an inflatable dinghy with outboard which is easily hoisted by the cockpit winches for safe passage making. The davits arch also houses 4 x solar panels with a further 2 mounted on the bimini. All this solar power will ensure you never have to worry about using your auto pilot or watermaker - or even if you chose to 'work' from the boat. This is in part due to the 400ah Lithium batteries which keep your house supply in reserve. Other significant cruising upgrades include a full suite of Raymarine istruments, GPS chart plotter and autopilot - all fitted new in 2021.

All standing rigging was replaced in 2019 with all running rigging between 2021 - 2023. Both mainsail and genoa were cut new in 2021 by 'Scott Sails', Sydney, and the life lines were upgraded to dyneema, making them ultra strong and comfortable to the touch.

The anchor locker is strategically placed aft of windlass which is positioned under the deck. This allows for a very clutter free flush bow - with plenty of room to sunbake or deploy a spinnaker without the risk of catching lazy lines. The 80m of 8mm chain was upgraded by the current owners to ensure secure anchoring with an Excel cruising anchor (with spare Delta).
