The Beneteau First 27 is a light robust racer/cruiser with big potential offering speed and thrills for hours of fun aboard, ideal for yachties seeking a competitive, fun yacht to club and regatta race or go weekend cruising.
The F27 is designed to be able to compete in offshore racing by naval architect Sam Manuard, taking inspiration from his own racing experience and features a hard chine as far as the stem, vertical sides, a good beam on the waterline and twin rudders. Her hull shape and deep draught lead keel combine to make her remarkably stable with the keel taking up 50% of her weight, she is an incredibly powerful yacht.
Packed with loads of ingenious fittings, she is ideal for a few days cruising with accommodation for up to a crew of 4. The fore cabin has a large double berth while two berths sliding below the cockpit double the length of the saloon seats. Privacy in the forward section where the master berth and head are located is achieved through cleverly designed folding doors held by magnets. Storage space is maximised with shelves that double up as bags to embark/disembark everyone's personal effects and she comes with a large removable table which mounts on the keel casing or in the cockpit.
