The Beneteau First 36.7 has long been a popular model and is the ideal mid-sized family Cruiser-Racer. Whether taking the family and friends for a leisurely cruise, enjoying a social mid-week or twilight or competing in club races around the buoys with your crew, the Farr designed First 36.7 is a truly versatile performer that is renowned for its excellent sailing qualities. This 2007-launched one-owner First 36.7 has been competitive in Club and Offshore events and is now for sale in great condition. Well maintained and equipped, she has 2022 mainsail, furling genoa and spinnaker plus an asymmetric spinnaker and storm sails. The yacht was re-rigged with new standing rigging in 2023. There's a full suite of Raymarine performance electronics including GPS and Plotter and an Autopilot, HF and VHF radios. On deck, she has upgraded larger Harken winches to make sailing even easier. She is powered by a 3 cylinder Yanmar 29hp diesel engine with saildrive and a folding propeller. The saildrive leg and seal were new in 2018. Her underwater surfaces were fully stripped and refinished in 2023 so there's a nice surface with no build-up of old antifoul.
Down below, the First 36.7 features a spacious layout with 3 private double berth cabins. The main cabin has a central drop side gloss varnished saloon table with a protective cover, settee berths either side and generous stowage spaces. There's a fully enclosed washroom with toilet, hot & cold shower and a wash basin plus an external shower at the stern, ideal for a rinse off after a swim. The compact but well equipped galley has a two-burner gas stove with oven, a large top opening ice box and twin stainless steel sinks with hot & cold pressure water provided. There's a real chart table of generous size with a seat for the navigator and Nav equipment and radios close at hand.
