This is a truly remarkable model being one of 5 racing prototypes that were created as the ultimate racer by Beneteau factory and delivered to various countries. The were upgraded where necessary to improve performance and designed to dominate the field. They were fitted with high modulus carbon masts with full carbon booms and arched carbon spreaders plus carbon rudder stocks and several other enhancements.
These were serious boats and Moana represents a continuously upgraded racing yacht that is ready to go.
She has recently completed the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and is ready to go for the next one.

Moana was previously known as "Victoire" is one of the highly sought after Beneteau fully optimized First 45 racing versions. With High Modulus mast and carbon spars, this vessel is right to go ocean racing or cruising right now.

The boat is being sold with safety and cat 1 offshore equipment which is all in compliance and has an impressive wardrobe of sails some very rarely used. This limited edition series of the First 45 launched in 2008 has many modifications to maximise performance and ensure results. From the factory they have a High Modulus carbon mast, boom and spinnaker pole. The vessel has optimised deeper Keel fin and bulb as well as twin Carbon wheels. The owners have also continued to maximise its performance with a comprehensive wardrobe of carbon sails, re-fairing of the hull, recessing through hull fitting and customising many of the on deck and trim systems.
