*Salon*: large dining table on port side, with benches,, sit 6 persons comfortably, and shelving and cabinets.
The table can be lowered to provide additional sleeping accomodation.
On starboard side: large storage hutch with countertop, shelving and upper cabinet.

All interior woodwork, including cabin sole, is of excellent quality and craftmanship, finished in warm cherry color with a varnish that is original and looks brand new.

The *ensuite fore bathroom* provide complete privacy for the occupants of the fore cabin and is equipped with a sink with a grab bar for use while at sea, a telephone type faucet/ shower head, a shower floor drain with electric pump, a manual Jabsco head, 2 mirrored toiletry cabinets + another larger mirror. The 2 bottom cabinets provide storage in addition to access to seacocks.

The *main bathroom* is conveniently located at the bottom of the companionway for easy access when under way. It also adjacent to the aft cabin. The equipment is similar to the ensuite bathrom but with only one toiletry cabinet and one lower cabinet.

No permanent air condition: A temporary window type air condioning unit has been installed on top of the boat and blow cold air through a hood built over a hatch, while the boat is in the marina. It is centrally located and provide some cooling to the whole boat and, at a lower setting, provide dehumidification when the boat is not occupied. When not in use the unit is stored in the aft cabin, in line with the plastic storage units at the foot of the bed, and does not encroach on the sleeping area.

1 large and deep locker on the port side of the cockpit. Some spare parts such as spare engine hoses ans pumps are located below the floor boards of the larger locker.
Anchor locker at the front of the boat houses the 100m stainless steel chain.
Cabins
2 cabins:
The aft cabin has a standing area with a headroom of over 2 m. A very large bed for 2 persons (2.05 m long x 1.30 m wide. Very good headroom at the head of the bed. 1 original wood cabinet and added plastic storage units.

The fore cabin is of Pullman style design includind a standing space with a headroom of 1.85 m providing access to the ensuite fore head. The bed for 2 persons is on the port side ( 1.95 m long x 1.20 m wide) with a long bookshelf above. Under the bed are 2 large storage drawers. On the starboard side is a bench with storage under, an original wood cabinet and open shelves that were added.

Galley
The galley is compact and has a U-shape layout. It is visually open to the salon and contribute to the spacious general effect.
On the right side is the double sink with swivel hot and cold water faucet, with lower cabinet storage with garbage bin.
On the left side are the separate fridge and freezers. Above is a microwave (110 V)
In front is the ginballed stove. Under the stove is a storage for pots and pans. Adjacent to the stove is a storage /drawer unit.
Above are 3 cabinets with doors and 2 open shelves.


The stove is a 2 burner, gimballed stove Force 10. It also includes an oven. It is powered by propane, the propane tanks (2)are located in a propane locker located in the cockpit. 2 additional propane tanks are stored on deck.
A propane barbecue Magma, circular, that can be mounted on the pushpit is stored in the cockpit locker.

The water tanks (2) are located under the beds of the aft and fore cabins. Each contains 250 liters. They are independent of the hull and can be easily removed, inspected, and repaired when needed

The watermaker is a Katadyn Powersurvivor 80E (12 V). It is located under the bench in the salon. Product water is supplied to a spigot at the sink and it can also be discharged directly into the fore water tank. When full the product water can be pumped to the aft tank.
The membranes (2) must be changed and can be ordered from Marine Supply Asia at the Langkawi Yacht Club

Windlass: Lofran Galaxy (2019), wired to house battery bank. The control box and wire and switch are located in the fore bathroom, in the port lower cabinet, to provide better weather protection than in the anchor locker. The cable and swich are brought above deck through the roof hatch when anchoring.

Sea anchor Seabrake GP30L by Burke Marine with long rode and harness, never used.
Safety Gear
The original bilge pump intake is in a shallow well located under the floor board under the salon table near the mast. A floater acivates the pump.
A second high volume bilge pump RuleMate 2000 was added further aft.

The LifeSling stored in the locker needs a new bag.
A balasted Man overboard pole with flag is attached to the backstay.

Electrics
AC system: The boat is originally a 110 V system but the change of battery charger in 2013 allows now the boat to be connected to a 240 V power supply
The 12 V system has been considerably extended to supply power to the new boat equipment
All the lighting has been upgraded to LED lights
A new "charging " panel has been installed above the microwave in the galley. It provide breaker protection and charging displays for wind, solar and water generators (the water generator is dragged behind the boat during long passages. It is stored in the cockpit locker).

House batteries: This Beneteau model comes factory equipped with 2 house batteries of 100 AH each. The battery wiring system has been completely upgraded to accommodate now 6 house batteries. Those house batteries were replaced with 6 new Ejarvis deep cycle 100 AH in January 2023.
Engine start: The starting battery is a new Bosch 120 AH. It was replaced in January 2023

Solar panels: 2 solar panels 145 W were installed in 2009 above the bimini. A third solar panel was added above the dodger in 2014. They are contolled by a Victron charge controller.

Generator: There is a portable 4 stroke, gazoline Honda generator purchased in Austalia in 2019. It is a 240 V unit that can be plugged in to the shore power outlet.

Wind generator: D400 by Eclectic Energy mounted on stainless steel support on port side, aft of deck

Charger: The Xantrex XC series battery charger was installed in 2009. It can accept all AC voltages from 110 to 240 V and charge 12 V DC systems automatically. (2013)

Raymarine eS, 7"screen, multi-function display for Navionic charts, GPS positioning, AIS, and radar. (2019).

The radar is connected to the multi function display by a RayNet cable.

The through-hulls and seacock are original except fpr the main head one that was replaced in 2023. They are all in working order.
Sail Inventory
2 large furling genoas, 140%, by Neil Pryde come with the boat
An in-mast furling main sail, 25.6 m2, is brand new (2024) and was manufactured by Zoom Sails
Mast / Rigging
The aluminum U. S. Spar mast and boom are original.
The mast is deck stepped and supported by a compression post that runs to the hull. Climbing steps were added in 2013. There are Pro Furl roller furling units for the jib and the in-mast furling main sail. Climbing mast steps were installed in 2013.
The rigging was replaced in 2013. The stainless steel cables are slightly oversized due to the change from Imperial to Metric. Also the cables are of superior quality being made of German stainless steel.
An aluminum wisker pole was added in 2013
Most of the running rigging have been replaced at some points.
Deck Gear

2 manual Lewmar 48 winches, one on each side of the cockpit for genoa operation, 2 speed, self-tailing
1 manual Lewmar 30, also 2-speed, self-tailing, mounted on the boat roof, on starboard side of the companionway.

There are cam cleats atop the cabin trunk, and on the mast. Additional were installed for a jybe prevention set-up
A stainless steel railing was installed in front of the mast to provide a secure location for jerrycans during long passages.

Remarks
Owners are the second owners. Cattiva was bought in Virginia, USA, in 2007.
The previous owners sailed every year from Virginia to the Caribbean and back. The current owners sailed the first year from Virginia to the Bahamas and back to Virginia. Then for the next 4 years sailed the boat in the Carribbean in winter and left her on the hard in Trinidad in the summer, outside the hurricane zone.
Then they sailed her almost full time West, to the ABC islands, Colombia, Panama canal, French Polynesia (2 years), Fiji (2 years), many islands in between, Australia (1 year), Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and back to Malaysia.
Cattiva has been in Asia since 2019 and at Rebak marina since the 2020 Covid shut down.
