The Beneteau 44 CC was a flagship model for Beneteau for many years and no expense was spared in building this blue water cruising yacht. It was designed by Bruce Farr who's brief was to bring comfort, performance and function together in a yacht that has genuine ability for serious blue water cruising. The Teak laid cockpit offers loads of seating and the aft deck space is perfect for equipment and tender preparation with ample room to move. A Volvo 85Hp auxiliary is coupled to a sail-drive unit and has 276 litres of diesel available if required. Solar panels maintain the batteries with all systems designed to run off 12 volts including refrigeration and a desalinator. "Mandala II" is well equipped for serious coastal exploration with recent West Coast expeditions under its belt and is well worth an inspection to truly appreciate all it has to offer.
