A MUST SEE MOTOR SAILER - the attention to detail is exceptional.
GENUINE TURN-KEY CONDITION - will not disappoint
This is a beautifully restored vessel that is ideal for liveaboard or longer cruising.
COMFORT and SAFETY are a major feature of this beautiful fully refurbished liveaboard cruiser. "ODAAT" (One Day At A Time) was a labour of love and very much exemplifies thorough care and consideration of every aspect. "ODAAT" would make a great family liveaboard as well as a holiday cruiser. Very functional, safe, user-friendly and comfortable.
Genuine turn-key condition.
Well presented and meticulously designed, this Southener 38 is an exceptionally tidy vessel that would suit the most fastidious of buyers. In an "as new" condition, a full no-expenses spared refurbishment was carried out in 2017 with a completely new internal and external fit out, and regularly finetuned by her owner.
A wonderful vessel highly suited for liveaboard and extended cruising, but equally enjoyable for the shorter trips.
New and recently replaced items are too numerous to list all but include:
- Fully reconditionded new engine (Nissan 72 HP diesel), with ZERO hours atm; new injector pump (7/22)
- Fully rebuilt gearbox (June/July 2022);
- New prop shaft seal (7/22)
- All internal fitout, including galley, saloon, bathroom and cabins;
- New sails, standing rigging, running rigging;
- New 300W monocrystalline solar panel;
- New wind generator (Rutland 1200 with hybrid MPPT controller);
- New 2 burner stainless steel (rail mounted) LPG BBQ... The list goes on...
"ODAAT" has beautiful teak timber finish throughout cabins and saloon with headlining of textured white laminex with teak trim. The flooring is also in teak.
LED lights throughout the interior including the engine room and cockpit with HELLA LED navigation lighting, and the anchor light as well.
Some of the many extras included on "ODAAT" include:
- cooking and dining utensils;
- linen;
- TVs and stereos;
- paper cvharts;
- safety equipment;
- mobile phone range extender;
- a large number of spare parts
Having had a maintenance slipping and antifoul completed August 2021, with engine and gearbox overhaul completed recently (2022), this lovely vessel is well worth the inspection and is genuinely ready to move on aboard and set sail.
Please phone or call in to have an inspection
