"Sofala" is a nice-looking, sloop-rigged New Zealand-designed and built (Brin Wilson) coastal cruising yacht. That said, she has crossed the Tasman Sea. As you would expect with this heritage she is a fine performer under sail. Such that she will hold her own in club racing. Built of glass-sheathed triple-diagonal Kauri the hull is immensely strong. The decks (including cockpit seats) are laid teak. An inflatable dinghy hangs off the davit frame which also carries a couple of solar panels. Below the deck, the accommodations are well laid out with excellent use of space. The teak cabinetry is to a high standard. There are two quarter berths aft.
