Cape Dory 25D Just Listed

Carl Alberg has designed this full keel 25 footer to look and handle like a much larger boat. The Cape Dory 25D, with her tall mast and large fore triangle, is a powerful windward performer. Sailed single handed from USA in 2006 by Mike Hunter. Time for a new owner, after my many enjoyable years. Thank you Mike.

The main salon with 5ft11inch (1.8m) headroom, berths for four and L shaped galley, is exceptionally spacious because the traditional forward V berths have been eliminated. In their place is a larger head, privacy folding doorway with vanity, wet and dry hanging lockers, and a shower facility. This unique forepeak layout is perfect for the cruising couple or family.

Like all Cape Dory yachts, the Cape Dory 25Ds warm, timeless elegance and painstaking craftsmanship are apparent throughout. Generous use of teak and Cape Dory designed bronze hardware and opening ports accentuate her classic good looks.

Major improvements completed over my 18 years. Full electrical rewire and instrument panel, hull fully sanded and newly epoxied, 2004 Yanmar 1GM10 overhauled.

Quantum Sails include main, furling genoa, furling jib, spinnaker in sock.
Solar panel and controller for new starter battery, solar trickle charger for new house battery, plus heaps of included gear not listed for you to select from, as I will no longer need.
