Windjet was purchased new by the current owners through local agent Vicsail Yachts WA Pty Ltd. In 2008.
She features optional extras such as wheel steering, holly & teak cabin sole and marine toilet with a holding tank. In 2015 a new 20HP 4 stroke Honda outboard motor was added, and in 2019 a new Dacron furling headsail from UK Sailmakers was also added. She was last antifouled and surveyed in March of this year (2023).

The Catalina 250 MkII is a fibreglass double skinned USA built rigid hull with solid lead winged keel. The bulkhead free fully open spacious cabin area sleeps 6 with a huge double bed under the stern area having an opening hatch, and double "V" berth in the bow.
A full walk in enclosed head with a Jabsco marine toilet with holding tank and vanity is a feature rarely seen in a boat of this size.
The main saloon provides a generous seating and table arrangement whilst a pop top sliding hatch to cabin area with cover and raised turret style canopy with zippered and screened windows gives full headroom when on the mooring.
