The Catalina 375 is a proven 38-foot (11.6 m) family cruiser from Catalina Yachts, built in 2010, and renowned for blending performance, comfort, and easy handling ideal for coastal voyages or extended weekends. Perfect for couples or small families, it offers spacious living quarters and reliable systems that hold value on the used market.

Key Specifications
This fractional sloop features a fiberglass hull with lead ballast for stability, measuring 38 ft 6 in (11.7 m) LOA, 13 ft (4 m) beam, and 7,500 kg displacement. Fitted with the 4 ft 8 in (1.4 m) lead wing keel for shallower waters. Powered by a fuel-efficient 40 HP Yanmar diesel (about 2.3-4.7 L/hr at cruise), it achieves hull speed around 7.9 knots (14.6 km/h) with 9,367 L water and 171 L fuel capacity.

Performance Highlights
Sail area of 646 sq ft (60 m²) delivers responsive handling in light airs, reaching 6 knots (11.1 km/h) at 10-12 knots (18.5-22.2 km/h) wind on a beam reach. In-mast furling main, self-tacking genoa tracks, and Harken winches enable single-handed sailing, while twin backstays and inboard shrouds support tight sheeting angles. Reviewers praise its balance under power and nimble upwind ability, though reefing helps in gusts over 15 knots (27.8 km/h).

Interior Comfort
The warm teak-finished saloon boasts 6 2" + (1.9 m+) headroom, a convertible game table and L-settee, U-shaped galley with twin sinks and ample storage, dual cabins (centerline queen forward, double aft), and a large head with separate stall shower. Eight ports and five hatches ensure ventilation; synthetic teak sole resists wear. It's liveaboard-friendly for coastal use with generous tankage and easy maintenance access.

Deck and Rigging
A massive cockpit with 2m seats, centerline table, and deep lockers fits generators or AC units; 28 in (71 cm) lifelines and wide side decks enhance safety. Divided anchor locker with windlass, stern seats, and outboard bracket add practicality for anchoring or dinghy use.

The Catalina 375 come from the builder with a 55-year legacy of durable, U. S. -built yachts. Low maintenance, CE Category A certification, and owner loyalty make it a smart buy for Australian coastal cruising.

Remarks
This is a very well presented Catalina, with considerable upgrades and well maintained by the one original owner.
This boat is an exceptional coastal family boat, able to sneak into shallower anchorages. We have cruised this boat from the bottom of Tasmania to the Torres Strait. The 11.6m length means marina berths are easier to find. This is a perfect boat for a retired couple looking to head off, or a family wanting something to holiday on (with two double cabins and two couches that convert to extra beds).
With the full length cockpit seats (not seen on later models), it is ideal for entertaining and lounging in the sun.
Recent upgrades include additional LiFePO batteries, more solar, new rigging and a fresh antifoul and Propspeed.
Comes with dehumidifier to keep the cabin free from boat odour when on anchor/marina.
