Ready for off-grid cruising. Well maintained.
The Catana 431 is widely regarded as one of the finest performance-cruising catamarans of her generation. Designed by Christophe Barreau and built in France to the highest standards, she combines exceptional build quality with remarkable sailing performance and comfortable living spaces, making her equally at home on extended blue-water passages or coastal cruising. Retractable daggerboards on this Catana 431 produce a refined performance for both upwind and downwind sailing, while her shallow draft allows for anchoring close to shore.
This 2004 Catana 431 'Little Cloud' has been extensively cruised by her current owners, travelling from the US to the UK. She has been optimised for self-sufficiency with an extra alternator, wind generation and 600 amp solar for the 930 AH lithium batteries - so no need for a heavy generator.
Features include:
2020 Volvo Penta D2-40 engines with approx. 1500 hours
New standing rigging
New anchor gear
New cushions
New deluxe side curtains for protected dry sailing
New watermaker
New diesel heater
