This Cavalier 35 is unique in having been fitted out by a master shipwright as his own yacht, but then being sold on completion to the owners who had her before I bought her 1 year ago. Since owning, it has been a very comfortable liveaboard cruiser and has given me plenty of enjoyment sailing around Moreton Bay. As you would expect the fit out and joinery is stunning, and it's been beautifully maintained.

The cockpit is open with a single wheel and there is a good sized varnished teak cockpit table that fits quickly and easily for entertaining. There's a huge cockpit locker to port, a smaller one to starboard and another locker aft of the wheel pedestal, as well as two gas lockers and a transom shower.

Down below the quality of the finish throughout is evident immediately. The galley is to starboard with a navigation bench under which is a large Isotherm fridge. The saloon has a bench seat to port and dinette to starboard and the owners cabin forward is roomy with good floor space and lockers.

Aft to starboard there is a generous single berth, while the head to port incorporates a shower and the toilet is mounted on a varnished teak plinth with a varnished teak lid!

Fitted with 240 shore power, 2500 watt inverter and a Redarc Redvision battery monitoring system.

An electric anchor winch

2 gas burner and gas oven stove on a gimble.

Brand new Bimini and brand new Genoa with UV protection on a furling headsail.
Carbon fibre main with plenty of life left in it.

Comes with tender and outboard, tender is hardly a year old 2.4 high field still with 9 year warranty and outboard is brand new with only 5 hours on it, 4 stroke 6hp Mercury still in warranty

The 30 hp Volvo engine starts immediately and runs beautifully.

The yacht was fitted with new rigging in 2018 and had a full rig check in 2023. A new gas certificate was issued in 2019.
Has just had new antifoul put on.

Easily sailed short or single handed with all lines coming to the cockpit, a double reefed main sail and a furling head sail.

A hot and cold outdoor shower fitted in the transom

120l diesel stainless steel tank, 340l of water storage with a 12volt pump.

1.5m draft
