The legendary Cavalier 37 needs no introduction and Freestyle 1 would be near the best 37 I have ever seen. These boats are considered the epitome of the all round yacht ; cruising, blue water, racing and as tough as they come. Freestyle 1 is a Laurie Davidson 1989 Cavalier. She has only had 2 owners, the first for 17 years, and the current owner, a marine professional for 15 years. She is regularly used and has been constantly upgraded and maintained (she recently completed a Circumnavigation of Tasmania) and racing in the RGYC club series. A new Volvo engine in 2015 shows only 1100 hours and the suite of sails is extensive. The electronics and electrical systems have all been upgraded. Down below she could pass for a near new boat.
